Danish Downhill Cup – Danish OPEN 2026 – Vallåsen
Welcome to the season finale of the Danish Downhill Association and the Danish OPEN DH race.
We'll be racing a bikepark track at Vallåsen bikepark in southern Sweden.
This means you'll need to purchase a lift pass for Vallåsen bikepark on the days you ride.
The lift pass is NOT included in the race entry, but can be booked online at vallåsen.se or in the shop.
The bikepark is open Wednesday–Sunday, and all trails other than the race track are open to everyone.
Vallåsen also offers camping, which can be booked via vallåsen.se
Food, drinks and coffee can be bought at Vallåsen, and there are also grill areas set up where you can barbecue yourself.

About Dansk Downhill Forening
Dansk Downhill Cup is the only downhill series in Denmark.
Despite Denmark's limited elevation, downhill mountain biking has a large following of people who are passionate about the sport. In its simplest form, downhill is about getting through the marked course as fast as possible.
The course features both big and small jumps, rock gardens, and plenty of roots.
The Danish trails cater to experienced downhill riders, but inexperienced riders on smaller all-mountain and enduro bikes can also take part, since "B-lines" are available for the more difficult sections.
One of the core values of Danish Downhill is a strong sense of community, so beginners can expect a warm and welcoming reception from the other participants.

Participation requires a CE-approved full-face helmet, back protector, gloves, knee guards and elbow guards.
Participation in the Danish Open is at your own risk.
The organizers, Dansk Downhill Forening, cannot be held liable for personal injury or material damage sustained by a participant, or caused to others, while participating in the Danish Open.
Participants are encouraged to check that they have adequate insurance coverage for injuries or accidents that may occur while taking part in races and training.
Any personal injury or material damage sustained by a participant during a race is not covered or insured by Dansk Downhill Forening.
The race is run as 2 timed runs, with the times added together.

• Master Women 50+ (for women over 50) (born 1976 or earlier)
• Junior U19 (for young riders under 19) (born 2008/2009)
• Women Junior U19 (born 2008/2009)
• Junior U17 (born 2010/2011)
• Women Junior U17 (born 2010/2011)
• Junior U15 (born 2012/2013)
• Women Junior U15 (born 2012/2013)
• Junior U13 (born 2014/2015)
• Women Junior U13 (born 2014/2015)
• Junior U11 (born 2016 or later)
• Women Junior U11 (born 2016 or later)
• E-open (open class for e-bikes)
• E-Women (open class for women on e-bikes)
If there are fewer than 5 registered riders in a class, the class will be merged with the nearest age group.
Dansk Downhill Forening reserves the right to merge more than two age classes until there are 5 or more participants in the class.
Proof of birth year must be available to show if requested.
